Mom Labs is an AI-powered creative platform built for parents to use with their children. It lets you generate personalized stories, illustrated storybooks, printable reward charts, and coloring pages — all tailored to your child's name, age, interests, and reading level.

Think of it as a creative studio in your browser. You describe what you want, and Mom Labs brings it to life — no design skills required.

Mom Labs is designed for parents and caregivers — not children. You create the account, enter your child's information on their behalf, and then enjoy the content together.

Children do not log in, create accounts, or interact directly with the platform. All AI-generated content is created at the direction of the parent and intended to be shared as a family activity — reading a bedtime story together, filling out a reward chart, or coloring a page side by side.

Yes. An account is required to save content, add child profiles, and access paid features. You can sign up with your email and a password, or use Google Sign-In for a quicker start.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

• Personalized Stories — AI-written stories starring your child and their pet, set in any theme or location you choose.
• Illustrated Storybooks — Multi-page, illustrated PDF storybooks generated from your stories (paid plans).
• Reward Charts — Customized star-chart trackers with AI-generated themes, milestones, and encouragement tailored to your child.
• Coloring Pages & Books — Printable black-and-white coloring pages and multi-page coloring books on any theme.

Mom Labs offers a free tier and two paid subscription plans, plus an Enterprise option for organizations. All plans give you access to the core features — the paid plans simply increase your monthly limits and unlock premium features like storybook generation.

The free plan lets you generate up to 10 stories and save up to 3. You also get access to reward charts and coloring pages. Storybook generation (illustrated PDFs) is available on paid plans only.

The free plan is a great way to try Mom Labs before committing to a subscription.

Yes! If you have a promo code, you can enter it on the Billing & Upgrade page. Promo codes can offer percentage or fixed-dollar discounts and may be one-time use or valid for multiple uses, depending on the promotion.

You can cancel at any time from the Billing & Upgrade page. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you won't be charged again after cancellation.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time in a billing period, except where required by law. If you have a billing concern, please reach out to momlabsapp@gmail.com.

We'll always give you at least 30 days' notice of any price changes via email or an in-app notification. Continuing to use Mom Labs after a price change takes effect means you accept the new pricing.

You (the parent) provide the following on your child's behalf when you add them to your profile:

• First name
• Age
• Gender (optional)
• Reading level
• Preferred story length
• Avatar (optional)

This information is used only to personalize the content generated for your family — stories, charts, and coloring pages. It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes, and your child's data is never used to train AI models.

Your child's name, age, and preferences are sent to our AI generation service to create personalized content — for example, a story where your child is the hero, or a reward chart with milestones matched to their age.

This data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles beyond what's needed to run your Mom Labs account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

COPPA — the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act — is a U.S. federal law that requires websites and apps to obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under 13.

Before you add a child to your profile, Mom Labs asks you to confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you consent to us using your child's information to generate personalized content. This consent is recorded with a timestamp so you have a clear record of when it was given.

You can review your rights and withdraw consent at any time by contacting momlabsapp@gmail.com or by deleting your account.

Yes. You can remove any child profile from your Account page at any time. This deletes the child's stored information from Mom Labs.

To remove all data — including your own account — you can use the Delete Account option at the bottom of your profile page. This permanently erases all stored information and generated content and cannot be undone.

Yes. Mom Labs uses industry-standard security practices:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store your password in plain text
• All API communication is authenticated using signed JWT tokens
• Data is stored in a secured database accessible only to authenticated requests
• HTTPS is used for all data transmission

No security system is perfect, but we take the protection of your family's data seriously. If you ever suspect unauthorized access to your account, please contact us immediately at momlabsapp@gmail.com.

When you upload an image (such as a child avatar photo) or when Mom Labs generates images for your storybooks, that content is processed through third-party AI providers — primarily OpenAI. Here's what that means in plain terms:

• Not used for training. Images and content sent via the API are not used to train OpenAI's models by default. Your family's photos will not be used to improve their AI systems.
• Temporarily stored for safety monitoring. OpenAI's standard API retains inputs and outputs — including images — for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring purposes. This is separate from training; it's a safety review window. After 30 days, this data is deleted by OpenAI.

We do not have a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) agreement with OpenAI at this time, which would be the only way to prevent that 30-day storage window entirely. We will update this policy if that changes.

The bottom line: your images won't train AI models, but they are temporarily held by OpenAI for up to 30 days as part of their standard safety process. If this is a concern, we recommend not uploading identifiable photos of your children as avatars.

Go to your Account page. In the My Family section, you'll find separate areas to add children and pets. Before adding a child you'll be asked to confirm your COPPA parental consent — this only needs to be done once.

Once added, your children and pets will appear as options when generating stories, charts, and coloring pages, so everything can be personalized to your family.

Storybooks take a story you've generated and turn it into a fully illustrated, multi-page PDF — like a real picture book. Each page is written and illustrated by AI based on your story.

Storybook generation is available on Pro and Family plans. Once generated, you can read your storybook in the browser or download it to keep forever.

Reward Charts are AI-generated star-chart trackers customized for your child. You choose the tasks, number of days, and theme, and Mom Labs generates a chart complete with a character, milestones, and encouraging messages tailored to your child's age and interests.

You can track progress directly in the app by tapping stars as your child earns them.

Coloring Pages are AI-generated black-and-white line drawings on any theme or subject you choose — from dinosaurs to outer space to your child's favorite animal. You can generate individual pages or full coloring books, then print them out for a screen-free activity.

Mom Labs leverages a combination of AI innovations from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic to power content generation:

• Text generation — We use models from OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude) to write stories, chart themes, and other written content, selecting the best model for each task.
• Image generation — DALL-E (OpenAI) is used to create illustrations for storybook pages and coloring page artwork.

We do not use your family's data to train or fine-tune any AI models.

You can update your first and last name from the Account page. To change the email address associated with your account, please contact us at momlabsapp@gmail.com.

Scroll to the bottom of your Account page and click Delete My Account. You'll be shown a summary of everything that will be removed and asked to type DELETE to confirm.

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and personal information
• All children and pet profiles
• All stories, storybooks, reward charts, and coloring pages you've generated

This cannot be undone. Please make sure to download or save any content you want to keep before deleting your account.

If you signed up using Google Sign-In, your account is linked to your Google identity and does not have a separate Mom Labs password. You'll continue to sign in using the Google button. If you need to change how you log in, please contact momlabsapp@gmail.com.
